ISF Request Form 5+2

Importer Security Filing ISF 5+2

ISF-5 is for cargo passing through the U.S. in form of Foreign Cargo Remaining on Board (FROB), or cargo intended to move through the US under a Transportation & Exportation (T&E) or Immediate Exportation (IE) bond. It’s called ISF-5 because there are only FIVE data elements required prior to vessel loading, rather than the typical ISF-10.

Please note the ISF must be filed with US Customs 24 hours prior to the cargo being loaded for export to the US.  GLC requests that the ISF form be provided 72 hours prior to the vessel departure.  If the ISF is not filed timely, the Importer of Record may be in jeopardy of receiving a fine starting at $5,000 from US Customs.  Additionally, GLC will invoice the Importer of Record an ISF Late fee of $50.
