GLC is proud to announce the appointment of Harald Oechsner as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Development.  Harald joins GLC as an accomplished Logistics Executive with more than 40 years of experience in all facets of the international forwarding industry.

Throughout his storied career, he has planned and executed the opening of numerous international offices for an elite list of privately held freight forwarders spanning the globe. In addition, he has overseen multinational operations, managing the activity and financial responsibilities of twenty-eight global offices across six countries with two thousand employees.

Having resided and worked in Europe, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Brazil, he brings a diverse international background essential to supporting GLC’s global footprint. Further, his linguistic abilities are as varied as his experience as he is fluent in English, German, and Portuguese.

His passion for providing direction and confidence to his employees and peers is in direct alignment with the core values of GLC and will undoubtedly contribute to our organization’s continued growth.
