In every company, there are employees who, without realizing it, inspire others to be better. They lead by example, persevere in challenging times, and do whatever is necessary to get the job done. For our GLC Chicago Branch that person is Armando “Mando” Salgado.

Armando began his career with GLC in 2018 as a truck driver for our Chicago Distribution Center. After eight months with the company, a key warehouse operations position became available, and Armando was chosen to fill the vacancy.
Since he transitioned to warehouse operations, Armando has been an integral part of the growth and expansion of Chicago’s Distribution Division.

Over the last three months, he has helped seamlessly consolidate our three warehouses into one without any disruption to product flow. His dedication to his colleagues and relentless work ethic embodies the core values of GLC and have earned him the honor of Employee of the Quarter.
