January 6th marked 15 years since the incorporation of Global Logistical Connections. Derek Scarbrough, Founder, and CEO started the company in 2006 after leaving a promising career in St. Louis, Missouri.

“Like many entrepreneurs, the company started from humble beginnings, with my office being the desk in my one-bedroom apartment. I was 25 with twenty thousand dollars to my name, and no customers… just a dream” Derek Scarbrough, CEO.15 years later, Global Logistical Connections serves an international audience with five locations nationwide and an office in Bogota, Colombia.

Since its inception, the mission of the company has been “to facilitate the growth and development of GLC customers by providing efficient and effective supply chain partnerships with an emphasis on quality, performance, and integrity.” Today, it is with this same mindset that GLC propels into its 15th year where it is poised to expand in three US cities and add an additional 400,000 square feet of warehousing to its portfolio.
